Clause – Lovet Lane, just off Eastcheap (nrst station Monument)
Clause is a lively and contemporary cocktail bar situated on Lovat Lane, just off Eastcheap, close to the centre of the City. Clause is privately owned by Gina Cohen who previously ran West End glamour spots Sugar Reef and Embassy. The layout at Clause provides several areas suitable for private groups with a central dance floor area which blends into the restaurant feel during the day yet comes alive later at night – especially on Thursday and Friday when we are open until 2am. In the evenings Happy Hour from 5pm-7pm offers a great excuse to meet for drinks after work. For groups of 6 or more areas can be booked in advance.
WATC Review: Highly recommended bar with great food and atmosphere. You need to book in advance as Clause gets very busy around the lunchtime period. Unlike with some of the other busy bars, service is still quick and the food is still of high quality. WATC love this bar (and sister bars, Pause and Patch).

Great place to go after work with collegues and enjoy the happy hour deals, they usually have it from 5 till 7 but they’ve extended it till 9 for the summer. the staff are great and serve great cocktails, check it out people!
