Cantina Vinopolis, SE1 – Mediterranean (Nrst Station/Tube London Bridge) Cantina can be found under the massive Victorian arches in the beautiful cobbled streets of Borough Market. Cantina is the public restaurant in the wine attraction “Vinopolis” – hence the name! Created by award winning (Michelin, Carlton, timeout etc) restaurateurs Claudio Pulze and TrevorGulliver. The food and service are paramount but with a wonderful opportunity to sample one of the best selections of wine from around the world (over 200 different wines to chose from). Cantina also houses the great Bar Blue at the entrance to the restaurant which is great for pre drinks. The open view kitchen serves superbly cooked, uncomplicated modern dishes, while the brick walls and wonderfully high ceilings create an impressive atmosphere. Cantina is a definite WATC recommendation which offers a great and wonderful eating experience using some of the freshest produce from the nearby Borough market. |
