BBC Documentary

Do you want to be featured in a new Documentary?

Are you going on Holiday soon?

Then why not contact the BBC and have the opportunity to have it captured as part of a unique documentary that will be screened on BBC2.

It’s a 60-minute documentary about family life – they’re looking for families going on breaks or holidays in the UK over the summer, who we would be able to film on their car journey to their destination. The idea is very much to get to know the family in the course of the journey (a director would ask them questions, and the whole trip would be covered by small cameras in the car).

The film will include  five or six families, representing a good range of British family life – from step-parents to single parents, grandparent carers, adopted kids, and so on. In this mix they would love to feature a family with a real high-flying mum who is balancing work commitments with family life – for whom the summer getaway is a really precious chance to spend time with her kids.

This documentary is for an award-winning BBC2 documentary strand called ‘Wonderland’ – and it’s being made by the same area of the BBC that makes Child of Our Time, Louis Theroux, and various one-off documentaries like the BAFTA-winning ‘Wounded’.
