About your keynote speaker:

Vanessa Vallely SpeakerVanessa Vallely is a recognized expert in person-to-person business networking, online branding and a sought after motivational speaker. Vanessa corporate experience stems from a 25 year career in Banking and Finance, holding senior positions such as Chief Operating Officer and Global Head of Governance and Business Management.

About your facilitator:

Caroline Graham-speakingCaroline Graham is a Director in Barclays IB Strategic and Regulatory Change team responsible for developing and implementing global change programmes.  Caroline recently spent three years in India as Head of Location Change overseeing a transitions programme for Barclays Operations and building out a Change organisation across Mumbai and Chennai.

Before joining Barclays eight years ago, Caroline was Outsource Manager at Fiserv and prior to that was Marketing Director at Pune-based Oceans Connect in India. Caroline also has experience in running her own business having founded a Public Relations agency called Rooftop Communications.

Caroline is passionate about the Diversity & Inclusion agenda. She is a senior sponsor of Barclays Win gender network, founder of Barclays Win India and also founder of Barclays Win Assistants Forum.  Caroline is the Head of WeAreTheCity India, a Board member of the London Women’s Forum and co-founder of Women on the Wharf. In June 2015 Caroline received a Global Achievement Award from The International Alliance of Women for her work in the Diversity space, and in July 2015 she appeared in Computer Weekly’s Top 50 UK Women of Influence listing.

About your panel:

Sarah Carlson, Senior Vice President – Sovereign Risk Group

Sarah is responsible for a portfolio of credits in Europe that includes France, Spain, Belgium and Slovenia. She is one of the Sovereign Risk Group’s global spokespeople. She joined Moody’s in 2009 after completing a Sloan Fellowship at the London Business School.

Prior to this academic sabbatical, she spent seven years at the Financial Services Authority in London where she headed the regulator’s Risk Analysis area and acted as its chief macroeconomist. Before joining the FSA, she worked in Dun & Bradstreet’s Economic Analysis Group for six years, where she was the organisation’s Deputy Chief Economist.

She holds an MA in European Studies (with a concentration in Economics and Finance) from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University and an AB with a double major in Government and History from Dartmouth College. She is a CFA Charterholder.

Andrea Daniels, Associate Managing Director – Structured Finance Group

Andrea Daniels is an Associate Managing Director and leads the EMEA Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) team.

Prior to joining the team in London in 2011, she was a team leader in the US CMBS surveillance team responsible for large loan and single borrower transactions. Since joining Moody’s in 1998, Andrea has rated various fixed and floating rate US CMBS transactions. Prior to joining Moody’s, Andrea worked as an Asset Manager within the Real Estate group at Aetna in Hartford, Connecticut.

Ms. Daniels has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Management from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica and an MBA in Real Estate from the University of Connecticut.
