I am Marcello. I am from London and, whilst I have always considered myself to be something of a maverick, am really just another office guy in the City. Now in my thirties and inexorably alone, I have decided to start recording my dating chronicles. The aim of this blog is to subdue the white noise and hopefully make some sense of it all. It may provide some satisfaction to know that while the corporate male may excel at workplace bluff and bravado, some of us are utterly inept in the dating arena.
I work in human resources, not exactly a masculine discipline, yet it affords me the opportunity to meet lots of women. In spite of my frantic work life, I spend an inordinate amount of time trawling online dating sites in search of “the one”. As well as my forays into digital matchmaking you will also learn of my ill-judged attempts to charm my work colleagues. Reading this blog will provide you with an insight into the mind of the modern corporate man – who knows, we may all learn something.
London is a wondrous, serene place full of charming women so despite my lack of tangible success, I really should not complain. I do though.
