Empower a woman this Mother’s Day

Wow, 10,066 of you have read this.

Woman Kind - Photo of a mother and her childMother’s Day is this Sunday 15 March and you can celebrate by making a donation and sending an e-card to your mum, family and friends to support a woman to stand up for her rights.

When Grace (pictured) needed safety from her violent husband, our partner Musasa was there to support her.

“It’s like having a friend that you can share your problems with, knowing that they are listening and understanding what you are going through.” Grace, 26, Zimbabwe

Your £10 donation could help another woman like Grace to reach safety and rebuild her life after violence. Every donation you make 6th March – 5th June will be doubled by the UK government. If you make a £10 donation, we will receive £20, allowing our partners to reach twice as many women like Grace. Together we can end violence against women and girls in Zimbabwe and across the world

About Womankind Worldwide

Violence against women and girls is not inevitable. It’s preventable. Watch and share our animation about the story of one woman, Meron, who took a stand to end violence. Help us call for urgent action to tackle the underlying causes of violence and support women’s rights organisations which are working tirelessly for a world without violence.
