CWN Communications in the Workplace @ Jefferies International Limited | London | United Kingdom
Nov 11 @ 08:00 – 09:15 Jefferies International Limited
Being a good communicator is one of the most critical skills required in business today. Investors in companies take notice of the confidence and conviction with which someone talks about a company and its plans; bosses want clear feedback; you want the ability to stand up and talk fluently and with command when asked to do so. Competent presentation matters. This communication skills taster takes the form of a 45 minute workshop with former BBC presenter & corporate coach Stephanie Hughes. She will cover the essential understanding of what it is to communicate effectively, in terms of both personal impact, and how to make spoken word content clear and memorable. This will include: A different kind of ‘selfie’ – using film as a means of improving your communication skills. Energy levels: too much, too little, or just right – exploring energy levels to help to make the right impact. The effect of words – how much effect do they really have? The fine art of making a good introduction – do you talk about yourself in the best possible way?
