Mizuho International plc has launched the Return to Work programme, an opportunity for experienced professionals to apply for a 10 week returnship programme, starting on 20 February 2017, and then to be reviewed at the end of the programme for a permanent position.

The paid Return to Work programme has available opportunities across Fixed Income Sales & Trading, COO Front Office(First line of defence), and Risk Management.

Who is eligible to apply?

Experienced professionals who have taken a voluntary career break of two years or more and who have an interest in returning to work are eligible to apply. You must have the right to work in the UK, and be available to start on 20 February 2017.

Benefits to Participants

In week 1 you will attend an induction followed by development and networking sessions to update your skills, knowledge and experience. In weeks 2-10 you will be performing the duties required to successfully fulfil the role and will be assigned a mentor within your department. You will benefit in the following ways:

  • Technical skills development (specific to your role)
  • Soft skills development
  • Mentoring and development specially designed for re-entry into the workplace
  • Learn about business and regulatory changes in the financial services industry
  • Develop new relationships, and broaden your professional network.

Location

The programme is located at Mizuho’s London offices, based near St Paul’s.
