Executive & Personal Assistants Association (EPAA) is launching its first campaign and is looking for participants.
The campaign is focused around workplace bullying within the administrative profession and is the first of a number of campaigns. EPAA is partnering with Executive Secretary Magazine and Be the Ultimate Assistant on this research.
EPAA aim to gather official statistics and figures of workplace bullying around the globe, to reveal a true picture of what is going on and who is being affected. Once the information has been collected, EPAA are aiming to provide the appropriate support and resources for those who have or will experience bullying during their administrative career.
The initial survey was intended to be for the UK only, but as EPAA went forward with the project, it decided to open the survey internationally.
Over recent years, the issue of workplace bullying among administrative professions has been increasingly raised at conferences and events, via social media and to industry leaders across the world.
Workplace bullying is defined as verbal abuse; offensive conduct or behaviours, including non-verbal, which are threatening, humiliating or intimidating; and work interference, which prevents work from getting done.
The survey should take no longer than ten minutes of your time to complete. There are open text boxes for you to comment further should you wish to do so.
Please note this survey is completely confidential and EPAA are not asking for names or personal details.
The survey will close on Monday 10th October 2016.
The results of the survey will be released to coincide with National Bullying Week on 14th-18th November 2016. The results will also be delivered to EPAA members via webinar. A downloadable report will also be made available.
