Teens Unite team raises £10,000 from British 10k London Run

teensuniteTeens Unite had an overwhelming 65 runners take part in the British 10k London Run on Sunday 13th July and between them they have raised an astonishing £10,000!

Each person had to raise a minimum sponsorship amount of £100 to take part, but some runners went above and beyond this including Darren Logan from Vision PLC who raised an astounding £1,600 for Teens Unite. We were so pleased to see one of the teens we support, Emily, also take part in the race and we are so proud of what she has achieved. Emily has so far raised an incredible £500, which will allow us to reach out to even more young people like Emily, in need of our support. You can still sponsor Emily by clicking here.

Local businesses including Vision PLC, The Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club, HB Accountants, Fishpools, Ricoh, PCG and RBS entered teams into the race to show their support for Teens Unite.

Once the race was over, we celebrated with our runners in St James’s Park over a picnic. We would like to say a massive well done and thank you to everyone that took part, including our wonderful volunteers who came along on the day.

We are already signing runners up for the British 10k London Run 2015 and our Santa Fun Run on 7th December 2014, so if you would like to register for either of these or find out more information, please email [email protected]

Join in the fun at our It’s A Knockout Family Fun Day!
