The Capital offers such a wide variety of eating houses.   In the evening the City and Wharf  restaurants and bistros transform the square mile into a mine of diverse food options.   WATC are putting together a list of the best restaurants based on recommendations from our members who are disregarding the diet regimes in order to provide you with their tips for great food, great service and above all value for money.

Click here to find out where members recommend and our recommendations.  London  is a fantastic place to socialise, be it a swift wine with your lunch or a few drinks with friends after work.  With bars and pubs in abundance, everything from spit and sawdust to classy wine bars and champagne houses, the City has it all.  The social scene at Canary Wharf has some fantastic bars and is only 10 mins by train from City, every month there seems to be a new bar or place to be.  Our team have been out and about (all in the name of research) to find you the best places to be.  So whether you are on a budget or feeling slightly flushed, there are ideas for everyone.

Where to Shop

It’s always difficult trying to find that LBD and perfect matching shoes or just a present for someone. Did you know that women alone account for 57% of the spend that goes through retail tills in the City.  It’s no wonder that retailers are flocking to every available space and market in order to display their wares for us to buy.  Even Canary Wharf has seen an influx in retailers banging down their doors in the last 12 months.  With everything from high street names lining Eastcheap through to the boutiques of Spitalfields, there is nothing that cannot be bought within the Square Mile or the Wharf.  WATC aim to bring you details of the sales, the shops we think offer great value for money and details on those that just ooze style.  Dont forget we need your feedback to, so if you have found a great shop or a star buy, make sure we hear about it!
