You and I have a lot in common. We both want to find the right guy to spend the rest of our lives with. We have also met many guys in the past and thought – He is the one!! It’s not that we are short of meeting guys, on the contrary, we get first dates all the time! However, for some really odd reason, the moment we start to show interest in this guy maybe from dates 2 onwards, he starts to lose interest!! Gosh!! I have been scratching my head over this issue for a long time trying to understand how it goes, the way it goes!!

So I did my research to try and understand how men think, especially during dating!! Not surprising, a large proportion of the text that I came across were written by men. Now that is all well and good but something is not right. Because like you, I have followed many of their tips but I’m still getting no where so either their plan is not really great, as they say it is or I, like many other women, I am not really applying it well!! Oh dear!!
But all is not lost for here comes the golden eureka moment!! I thought I would become a Wise Girl but a Wise Girl with a twist; after all, despite all her drama, Marilyn did have something that kept the guys hooked till the end! The twist, and I think this is the differentiation factor, is that this Wise Girl will find the love that she deserves in the guy that she wants!!! No compromises! Period!
How am I going to do that? The answer is quite short and simple really, through the Journey model! It is the goal (the ultimate result in getting Mr Right) as much as it is about the Journey! Matter of fact it is the Journey that determines the goal! You see, I, like you, don’t buy or rent flats, houses or invest in stocks in a whim!! In fact when I got my flat, I had a list of things that I was looking for. I wanted a flat with periodic features, one on the top floor, with an open plan and big space! I also do a lot of research before I make a stock investment. So as I am going to live with the chosen Mr. Right till the end, I think it makes absolute perfect sense to have a systematic path to follow during my search, to help me in getting to my destination and also to make sure that during the process, when I hone in on the lucky Mr. Right, I dance and keep on dancing to the right tune – apparently guys tend to dance to their own tune and do respond positively to a lady with game!
I will be testing the Journey model consistently like it is air!!! I mean I need to have it guide me always after Date 1, without it, I can’t survive!! I’m not going to leave you hanging… I will be sharing bits of the Journey model and my progress with you every week.
It’s comforting for me to know that there are thousands of women out there following the Journey model with me. But don’t keep the success and challenges to yourself. As I share with you on a weekly basis, I ask that you also share yours with me too. Exciting times lay ahead of us. Let the Journey model begin!!
