Witherdens Hall | Canterbury – Kent | Recommended Retreats

Wow, 9,835 of you have read this.

witherdens-hall-thumbWitherdens Hall is a venue for everyone, combine your stay with luxury treatments, or attend one of our courses. Have a personal break through retreat or hold business conferences here. We have flexible accommodation to suit everyone.

In the Retreat Cottage there is a magnet therapy bed downstairs, which is a super king size, and a twin/super king upstairs.  The lovely bathroom has Neal’s Yard lotions and potions, and fluffy robes.  The sitting room is light, airy and very comfortable, and we have lots of magazines including Country Living and Harper’s Bazaar, and we have loads of really interesting books and some great classic DVDs too, so you won’t get bored!

We have a second double room available in our ChillSpace and a new twin room being converted so we can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably.

If you want to order it, we leave breakfast in the kitchen for you to prepare at your leisure.  It consists of organic freshly baked bread, butter, Marmite, jams, honey, yoghurt, juice, fruit, cereals, milk and our own eggs (which are divine). Please specify if you would like breakfast at the time of booking.  We leave freshly ground coffee and a myriad of teas for you whether you have breakfast or not.  There are several fantastic farm shops with cafes within walking distance – so you can always buy things for your breakfasts and other meals there. If you don’t feel like preparing your own meals, we can recommend some great places to eat in the area. You can also order all the food for your stay to be delivered – it is delicious!

We have a range of treatments available, they are all great but Marilyn’s Reiki and Organic Rose facial and Stephanie’s hot stones massage are extra special.  For a really life-transforming (and I really mean that!) treatment, you should book with Ben Barnett.  His work is outstanding and the feedback we get from guests is superlative. He was keeping Holly Valance’s body from seizing up on Strictly Come Dancing and Kylie is a big fan! We don’t take any commission from the therapists (that way you know that what we recommend is what we truly believe in) and you book directly with the therapists and pay them direct, which all keeps the cost down for you.

The outdoor pool will be lovely and warm if it the sun is out and closed in winter but you may well want to relax in the ChillSpace – the sauna, steam cabinet and massage chair will have you blissed out in no time.

The WorkSpace is a fully equipped area for running workshops and retreats, with a large screen television with DVD player and an IPod docking station. There are two areas which can be opened up into one or separated as a breakout space. This can be arranged to best suit your needs. The breakout space has a beautiful kitchen with a fridge so any food you require can be prepared and drinks are readily available. The WorkSpace can accommodate 25 people theatre-style to 15 for a board-room or body-work retreat that needs more space per person. It is perfect for running your own Workshop or course.
