Women in Technology Event – What does the future hold for women in technology?
Join us on Tuesday 24th February 2015 , at Mark Square to hear a panel of inspirational women share their career stories, and what they think the future holds for women in technology. The panelists are senior technologists currently working at a number of high profile businesses, including our own organisation. This is an opportunity to network with other women in technology, and to hear tips from successful women which may help your own career development.
We are honoured to be joined by this panel of fabulous speakers from a variety of organisations:
Jeanine Long, Business Program Director, Thomson Reuters
Rebecca Salsbury, Head of Core Engineering (News & Knowledge, Future Media) at BBC
Irina Voinea, Software Engineer, Facebook
Nazia Tingay, Senior Technical Project Manager, Barclays
The Women in Technology employee resource group acts as a platform for women in technology to better communicate and build strong supportive networks. This is our first WIT event in some time so we look forward to welcoming you and providing an opportunity for you to increase your network. This is an inclusive event and is open to all. Drinks and nibbles will be provided.
