02/03/2018: The Big London Night Walk 2018

Registration is now open for The Big London Night Walk, taking place on Friday 2 March 2018.

This will be the eighth Big London Night Walk from The Big Issue Foundation and will feature a brand new start and route for 2018. The event is aimed at bringing supporters together to take to the streets of London and raise vital funds for the charity’s work with Big Issue vendors.

This year’s walk offers an entirely new start and finish point at Shoreditch Town Hall. There will be three rest stops during the 13 mile journey, where hot beverages and snacks will be available to help fuel walkers throughout the night!

The walk will also include several inspiring talks from those whose lives have been positively impacted by the work of The Big Issue Foundation, including James Bowen & Street Cat Bob and Big Issue vendor Bill.

All funds raised from the Big London Night Walk will help Big Issue vendors on their own steps towards a better life.

“Gradually we fell into step with the other solo walkers…and our team grew as we went. Don’t be put off doing this walk if you’re a solo walker- you will soon make friends; there is something about this event that brings people together in the most unique way!”

Groups and solo walkers are welcome, with a registration fee of £25 for individual participants, or £20 per person for groups of five or more.
