Lloyds Banking Group announced as LGBT’s most Inclusive Employer

Lloyds Banking Group has been named as the UK’s most LGBT Inclusive Employer in the Stonewall Top 100 List.

Stonewall’s Top 100 Employers List showcases the most inclusive and diverse workplaces for LGBT employees in the UK.

Lloyds have been commended for their recent television ad campaign, ‘For Your Next Step’, which features a same-sex proposal. The company has also introduced further initiatives such as extending their private healthcare provisions to include interventions and support for trans colleagues; and a new colleague volunteering programme, forming official partnerships with LGBT charities Mermaids, Opening Doors London and the Albert Kennedy Trust.

Speaking about the accolade, Karin Cook, Group Director, Operations, Lloyds Banking Group said, “We are delighted to be recognised as the leading employer for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in the Stonewall Top 100 list.”

Other companies featured on Stonewall’s list include last year’s winners, MI5 alongside the House of Commons, Leicestershire County Council, Asda, RBS, KPMG, PwC, Fujitsu, Reed Smith, The Army and Credit Suisse amongst others.
