London’s famous sandwich bar chain is opening its doors for evening diners. This is the first time in their 31 year history and took 6 months of planning after receiving demanding requests from diners for an evening meal.
The trial will begin with the Strand branch and will be open from 6pm to 11pm. Once 6pm hits the sandwich bar will be transformed into a fully functional restaurant with candle light tables, wine list, music and of course a sumptuous menu. Upon arrival you will be greeted by the front of house staff and shown to a table, no longer having to bob and weave your way to an empty one.
The concept for this radical shift is “Good evenings” and allows those pushed for time to enjoy an actual meal rather than just a sandwich. Shifting into the evening market can be a difficult but when your customers are hounding you for something why not deliver?
