Interview With a Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles

It wouldn’t be Halloween without an appearance from a vampire! Adapted from Anne Rice’s popular novel of the same name, Interview with a Vampire is less jumpy than other horror movies, but still enough to give you nightmares.

The film follows Louis who after losing his wife and child becomes convinced he has nothing to live for – upon which a vampire named Lestat gives him the chance to become a creature of the night.

Starring household names Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Antonio Banderas, this film is nothing short of classic horror.

The Exorcist

The ultimate scare-fest movie is The Exorcist, which tells the story of a teenage girl who is seemingly possessed by a mysterious demon. As her mother seeks the help of two priests, it is apparent that this entity will not let go easily.

There have been many attempts to make similar films on par with the Exorcist, but it can be argued that they have failed to replicate the true horror of the original.

Starring Linda Blair, Jason Miller and Max Von Sydow, this film will undoubtedly send chills down your spine.
