Women 4.0 – The future of women in technology event | 04/06/2014

Wow, 38,147 of you have read this.

Morgan Stanley & WeAreTheCity would like to invite you to an evening networking event on Wednesday 4th June 2014 at 6pm.

The future of women in technology is being hosted by Morgan Stanley at their Canary Wharf offices at 20 Bank Street, Canary Wharf London E14 4AD.

This is the second event Morgan Stanley have hosted for over 200 female technologists with a view of supporting women in their technology careers. We hope you will be free to join us on what promises to be an insightful and enjoyable evening looking into how women will play a key role in the future of technology.

The evening will consist of two keynote speeches, the first keynote will be from Christina Scott, CIO of the Financial Times and the second will be from TV personality and founder of Girl Geek Chic, Nikki Moore, both of which have had extensive careers in Technology. The keynotes will then be followed by a brief career journey from a female technologist at Morgan Stanley and then an impressive panel session, facilitated by skilful raconteur, David McQueen.

The focus of both keynotes is how women can play a fundamental role in the future of technology. During each keynote you will also hear about the career journey’s of both keynote speakers and how they navigated their careers and achieved success.

After the presentation there will be a Q&A session facilitated by David McQueen which will also include both keynote speakers, Audrey Mandela, Chair of Women in Telecoms and Technology as well as a female technologist from Morgan Stanley. During this Q&A you will be given the opportunity to pose additional questions to the panelists.

Once the keynotes and panel concludes, we hope you will be able to join us for networking, drinks and canapés. Should you wish you will have the opportunity to speak with Morgan Stanley Technology recruiters.
